Please join us at the Opening Event on Thursday 12 April 18:00 at the Village Opera House at the Village Courtyard, 18 Liliencron Street, or/and for the Festival on Saturday 14 April - 9:00-14:00 at the Village Courtyard!
Opening Reception in Swakopmund will take place at the Fine Art Gallery on Friday 20 April - 17:30.
The Kayamoja Wildlife Art Exhibition 2018 is the first joint exhibition of wildlife artists and the children's art work under the theme of the Kayamoja ArtConnects Trust:
„What we learn to love, we learn to respect.“
World-renowned wildlife artists and conservationists exhibiting for the first time in Namibia together with our local talented artists and the winners of our nationwide Kayamoja Wildlife Art Newcomers Competition!
Come join us, see original art of some of the most world-renowned wildlife artists, like Carl Brenders, Karen Laurence-Rowe, A.E. London, Robert Bateman, Adam Binder, Anni Crouter (…) and celebrate our Namibian talents! Wildlife art in this context is not a just matter of beauty in our homes, but has become a weapon in the battle for conservation, in times of great need for it.
All artwork on show will be for sale 50% of proceeds going directly to the Kayamoja ArtConnects Trust.
The Kayamoja Wildlife Art Exhibition 2018 and its Newcomers Competition aims to raise awareness for our vanishing wildlife for everybody involved but mainly to the youth of Namibia,- a country that a unique and great variety of wildlife still calls home.
Lets make a difference for wildlife conservation, children and young talented artist together!
